VIII. Assessment
In both the English and History classes, we decided that teachers were able to assess student participation with their own discretion. However, the two required writing pieces were assessed with peer editing activities, self and group evaluations and rubrics. Below are links to the scoring guides we used for these two assessments.
- Narrative and Group Evaluation Form – Includes criteria and space for the entire OHP group to evaluate their success in the project.
- Group Member Evaluation – Each group member evaluates themselves and the other members of the groups on a scale of 0-100 using specific criteria.
- Personal Reflection Peer Editing Guide – Used by at least one other student to evaluate the required criteria of the personal reflection.
- Personal Reflection Scoring Rubric – Used a guide for the students and a grading tool for the teacher to evaluate the success and requirements of the Personal Reflection. Includes aspects of 6-trait writing.
