Abstract: The career coordinator has developed strong connections between service-learning and career readiness. The following (diagrams) show how they have thoughtfully built connections to service-learning and job readiness skills for several learning projects in their school.

Senior Project Assessment: All Seniors are required to complete a Senior Project if they are to graduate. After completing their 20 hours of community service, they are graded on the following:

to their personal and career interests. Those interests will be used to develop activities that address actual

• An essay of interest
• A biography
• A research of a social political, cultural, or economic issue facing the occupation today
• A career path preparation
• A presentation
