Design Teams

DT1. Research and Evaluation - Support organizations and quality volunteer experiences through research and evaluation.


DT2. Training - Increase the capacity of nonprofits, schools and civic groups to effectively work with volunteers of all skill and age levels as they utilize volunteers and students as an increasing part of their workforce.


DT3. K-20 Service Learning - Student engagement, academic achievement, and civic engagement are increased through quality service-learning. Service-learning will become an intentional part of the instructional repertoire of educators and an intentional part of community problem solving.


DT4. Technology/Web Presence - Use technology as one way to encourage and enable people of all ages to contribute in meaningful ways to the community through volunteering.


DT5. Civic Engagement - To nurture public involvement in civic decision-making through dialogue, advocacy and action.
